In short: Good race let down by poor organisation
In full: This has the potential to be a good race but let down by poor organisation. This is often the case with a race not organised by runners. Toilet facilty was vastly inadequate. Final out & back to Stourbridge Common was dangerous with two way traffic. What went wrong with the chip timing, this is usually very reliable, suggest a different company next year.

I will run again next year but it needs to improve. It pains me to say but Peterborough is so much better.

In short: Reasonable race, good course but no water at the end!
In full: A reasonable race, good course but lack of enthusiasm from marshalls. Having no water at the end of the race was a serious oversight, if it had been a hot day there could have been serious problems.

In short: Well organised but not very inspiring scenery.
In full: A well organised race but the course is fairly boring, although there is PB potential as it is very flat.. I'll be back next year as usual.

In short: Well organised race as usual.
In full: Having ran this race several times this is the first time the weather has been good, usually freezing! Excellent race which I always enjoy & will be back as long as my legs keep going! Marshalls very good and encouraging as usual. Well done Bedford Harriers.

In short: Not a race I would run again.
In full: Dull course, delay at start not good. There are so many better races around organised by running clubs.I would not run this again, I only ran for the novelty value but I was away from home over 7 hours so it was all pointless really.

In short: A good pre FLM workout
In full: Very enjoyable & well organised race. Shame about the naff water bottle. I would rather pay more & receive a medal or t-shirt

In short: The weather contrived to spoil the day but failed!
In full: Despite the weather doing it's worst I still managed a PB! As usual a well organised race. Thanks to the marshalls for their enthusiasm in awful conditions. Thanks also to the people on the water station and to St John's Ambulance who give to their free time race after race.
