In short: My Fav race, thank you Brighton
In full: This is the second time I have run Brighton and my 10th marathon in all and this is my favourite race. I did not have a great run, running 14 minutes slower than last year, but the crowd and the organisation made up for it. You cannot thought the organisation for this race from start to finish, with the start being much better this year. This year I run without headphones and the crowd were amazing, trying to get the runners to the finish. I also thought the power station section was much better this year with no road to hell sign and more crowd support being there this year. The only thing I could say I was disappointment with was the t shirt being too much like last years one, it would be nice to have a new design or colour. I was thinking about running it again next year, but having a look at the rise in cost, I will try to run a different marathon instead next year in these hard times.

In short: Great race, with brillilant organisation.
In full: This was a lovely race at the coast, for a good cause and the organisation was first class. The only thing i can fault the race on was the four laps was a bit boring for me. The collection of race numbers was quick and easy, with the start being good and not over crowded. The course itself was not as fast as i thought it would be and on the sea front with alot of runners going both ways on different laps later on in the race it was dfficult at times. The crowd support out on the course were brilliant and cheered the runners on all the way. The finish was great with a print out of your time and place.

In short: A great race, really enjoyed it, great organisation.
In full: This was the first time i run this and i only wished i had run it before. It is a very local race to me and was great to go back to my old school after over 20years. The race was great from start to finish, with the only down point being lack of support on the course. But i expected this on a cold sunday morning in the Kent countryside. The race was well sign posted from main road and there was plenty of car parking. Before the start of the race there was a nice friendly feeling about everything. The start and finishing area was easy to find, with plenty of toilets for the size of the race. The race itself was well organized, first half of the race was undulating/mildly hilly, but the second part of the race was mostly downhill/flat. After you had finished you were treated well and yes the cake stall was amazing. I am already looking forward to coming back next year, brilliantt race.

In short: Great race with great organisation, i really enjoyed the day.
In full: This was the most organised race i have ever run, with the only fault being the starting penns letting all colours in with nobody checking peoples colours.
The experience was great from the time i signed up for the marathon, until the drive home from Brighton. Unlike others on here, i received regular e mails about the marathon. The expo was very well organised, with friendly saff. Nice touch the massages for charity on friday. The start was good at Preston park, but perhaps could of had a bit more entertainment on the stage, but still the best starting experience i have had in such a big event.
The race itself was a brilliant and i would like to say a big thank you to the people of Brighton and everyone who was there for there support on the day. The water pouches i found were a great idea and energy blocks were also great idea. This was my 8th marathon i have done with this being the 2nd hardest course i have run, but it was the best exerience i have had at any running race i have run. I would agree with others on here that the Brighton is far better than London, but perhaps English marathons could learn from some european marathons which bring other things to the marathon experience. But on the whole the marathon comes top of the table in the complete running race experience. On top of this a pb on the day and i am already looking forward to next year.

In short: Badly organised race which offered little value for money.
In full: This race seemed to be badly organised, with too many runners. The HQ was over crowed, but admittedly this was larely due to the rain, but the car parking was inadequate for the size of the race. The start was also very over crowed with the large field running up the road towards parked cars. The course and marshalling overall was good, with a few hills. The finishing area and medal was disappointing, with runners having to help themselves to water, which when i finished due to the disorganisation went all over the floor.

In short: Well organised race on a flat scenic course
In full: I really enjoyed, this race from start to finish. The organisation was spot on and the support by the marshalls and the crowd were brilliant on a good friday by the sea. The medal at the end was a great and nice to be liked in with the queens jubilee year. I love this part of Kent and to top it all a PB.

In short: Nice race, run on a lovely route in the Kent countryside.
In full: Really enjoyed this race, nice course with good crowd support. The only problems with this race were no enough toilets at the start and the long wait at the end for the goody bags and drinks at the end. While out on the course i could not fault this race the marshalling and the people who were on the drink station were brilliant. Will try to be back next year.

In short: Good quick race with pb potential.
In full: The course was flatish with only hills in the last three miles. The start could of been better organised, also there was a need for more toilets at the start. But while you were out on the course it was well marshalled, with lots of water stops.
