In short: Challenging, but well worth the pain!
In full: This race is only for the hardy! The course takes you through knee deep waterlogged lanes (watch your shins on the pieces of ice - ouch), along leafy trails, through endless miles of mud (hold onto your shoes!), through a river, and across green fields, to the finish where you are given a Christmas Pudding and clotted cream for all your hard work. Plenty of dressing up and festive cheer all add to the fun. My favourite race of the year.

In short: This is a fantastic course for PB's
In full: If you are going for a 10k pb then this is a good one, a couple of undulations in the first half, then flat and fast all the way home. The memento was a mug this year and it looks as dull as dishwater! I will be back next year to try for a new pb.

In short: Excellent scenery, good fun but pricey and a bit 'corporate'

In short: What a fantastic day! Couldn't fault it and would recommend it to those running their first half marathon (I was!) .

In short: This was a scenic route along quiet country lanes, two challenging hills with fab views and plenty of down hill!
