In short: The best half I've run
In full: I've run this twice now and PB'd both times. Excellent organisation and fab technical shirt instead of a medal. Great atomsphere and really usefull pace runners too. Great to see the 2hr pacers actually running BACK at the end to collect as many people as possible and coax them over the line. Don't think I've ever seen that happen before! Bravo Riverside!!

In short: Still hot and hilly but organisation (esp at the end) much better
In full: Swore I'd never do this one again last year after queueing for 20 minutes for water at the end, no lolly and a host of other stuff but this year the whole start finish area was MUCH better. Well done St Albans. Probably will do it again. Oh - one small moan.. still needs more loos!!Other than that great race.

In short: A great event let down by poor organisation
In full: Where do I start? Long LONG queue for numbers, even preregistered - never found mine. Only one tiny toilet trailer. Delayed start. Very small slice of fruit at the end instead of a whole orange or banana, no L T shirts, small cup of water instead of a bottle.
On the plus side its a fantastic course with something for everyone. I'll run it again but the organisation has been so much better in previous years.

In short: Great race, great atmosphere - getting better each year
In full: Well organised this year with a better route and well sorted at the finish. Yes, a few narrow bits where it was hard to overtake and a few muddy bits (but it is October!) but most races have narrow bits, don't they? Yes you CAN PB here - I did!

In short: All went off smoothly...and no big puddle this year
In full: Quite a hilly little course. Got the T shirt this time. Just a little note to the organisers - next year at the finish can we have the water before the queue for the shirts / oranges? Ta
