In short: Well organised but more for the running clubs than the fun runners
In full: Nearly lost my way at one junction but could just see one runner disappearing ahead so followed them. No water at the end for the back runners, good job i had something to drink left in the car.

In short: Great support from the marshalls, especially for us backmarkers!
In full: A little bit up and down but manageable for all levels adds to the interest of the race. Great encouragement from the marshalls especially on the run in at the end.

In short: Not sure if I was welcome.....
In full: I love running for fun and fitness and like to do a little more than the usual charity runs. I was a little disheartened to overhear a yellow vested altrincham runner talking to one of the marshalls before the start, saying that anyone not capable of 21mins or less, should not be entering. So not so sure if I will take part next year. I find the standard of atheletes very impressive and many are very supportive of us tortoises bringing up the rear, but if a minimum standard is expected please let me know before I enter.... Everything else was faultless, great surroundings, fantastic organisation and general friendliness from most.

In short: One of the friendliest races - will be back again next year.
In full: Just for fun - I am no outstanding athlete but thoroughly enjoy this race. Organisation is great, as is the marshalling, cannot understand why there has been a bit of criticism, only problem was the field but who do we blame for the weather!?
