In short: Did anyone else see the camel???
In full: Superb race, I really enjoy this one, it has to be one of my favourite races of the year, great course perfect weather, undulating but not horrible. Did anyone else see the camel in the field on our rhs after about 7-8 miles ??? no-one else in my running club did and they all think I'm going mad..........

In short: Hills, Hills and more hills
In full: a toughy but a goody, only a pb course if its your first 1/2 marathon. Hard going for the first 9 miles or so, offset by a nice final 3. enjoyable in a sadistic way.....

In short: Lovely
In full: A great race with good PB potential, not too undulating with nice scenery along the river. Will certainly be back next year.

In short: Oh boy it was hot
In full: A very good event, far too hot and hilly to even think about a PB. A real achievement just to finish this one, "undulating" doesn't really do it justice. An extra water station at 5 miles would have been fantastic, but in normal weather I guess it wouldn't have been so necessary. Thanks to all the marshalls & organisers.

In short: Straight Forward 10k
In full: Good flat course, excellently marshalled, local snowy weather probably put some people off but the course was clear and the conditions perfect.

In short: Very enjoyable - miles 1-8, not so miles 9 & 10
In full: Great run, excellent flat course, good atmosphere, the weather again was atrocious, not too bad for runners but it must have been hell for the supporters - fair play to every one of them. High winds and driving rain as the course turned back along the seafront was a bit of a shock for the first timers but although expected was still a bit of a nightmare for those of us who knew the course. Will definately do it again. PB 1.12.57 (10 mins 45 sec better than last year)
