In short: Hot hot hot In full: Blimey that was a warm one. Nice undulating course, good mix of abilities and very friendly. The field stretched out very quickly and I found my self running alone for the vast majority so you have to dig deep to remember its a race and not a training run. The medal at the end was rather odd mind it had Dymock Half 2009 written on the back. Guess they had a few left over from 3 years ago :-) Date of review: May 28, 2012

In short: Well organised race with PB potential In full: Love this race always seems to have some of my best halfs in straoud. The organisation is superb for a club organised race, a few larger city runs could take notes from stroud. Yeah the scenery isnt always the best but the support along the course and the friendly feeling during the race makes up for that. Marshalls ae excellent. The wind this year was a bit of a killer coming back in to the finish but that just makes things more interesting. Im happy as I have got this years PB. Deffo a fast course, the wind on your back for the firs half helped with this mind. Overall a good very good event and one to recommend Date of review: October 24, 2011

In short: Tough & Hilly but Fantastic In full: The Hills the Hills. Well it seemed if you werent going up then you were going down, was there a flat bit. Loved every minute of it. Had to dig deep in the middle section runing through the lanes with the field stretched out I found myself running on my own for a good few miles. Deffo do this again. Weather was perfect, marshalls were friendly. The start seemed abit chaotic though as no one knew where the start was, including some of the marshalls. Will be back next year for more.
