In short: Well organised event as normal
In full: Again a well organised event. Improvements this year were made at the finish to stop people walking along as you're going for your last and most important sprint. Weather was great which made a good day out. Only one problem is the start time of 11-30, why so late? could a 9-30 not be possible just so a whole Sunday isn't taken up?

In short: Friendly and well organised
In full: I did all three of these races in the Woodland 5 series. The first was after days of downpours and resulted in a mud bath,, the second and final were dry but the last race had a slightly shorter course of about 300 metres we think, this was due to some logging that had taken place which blocked some of the original track.

Overall it had great organisation and marshalling with a friendly atmosphere on a challenging course

In short: Nice course
In full: Ok course which is in need of some fine tuning, the start line needs to be more clearer and the finish less congested. That aside its a great course once clear of the start. mars bar and a medal at the end plus a PB to cap it all. great day, will be back next year for a better time again!!!

In short: Very good
In full: Organisation was second to none coupled with a loudspeaker announcer that you could actually understand. Loads of water stations and sponges, lots of marshals and helpers that all knew their job. Then a gooody bag with jelly babys, a tee shirt, a medal and a lucozade!! need i go on?!?!?!?

In short: Wet and cold!!!!
In full: Well organised and well managed course, weather not their fault I know!! but it made it a lot harder than I was expecting. The marshal’s were spot on in knowing their job and were very supporting and vocal throughout. See you next year!!

In short: Worth doing
In full: This was only my 2nd half marathon having completed the Marlow Half in November. Having been ill two weeks before this one and an injury for my running partner I was not really prepared for this race but went for it as a " training run" and plodded around accordingly. The atmosphere was good and friendly with lots of encouragement from members of the public and local residents. Definitely will run next year hopefully a bit quicker too.

In short: Good scenery and organisation.
In full: This was a great course surrounded by lovely countryside and locals giving great support. Forgetting the rain for the first 2 miles the course was discreetly demanding with some good hills and nice straights to gain popsition and speed. Organisation was first class and all went very smoothly with all monies going to a great cause. Tea and cake at the end was great and should happen at every race!!
