In short: Lovely race
In full: The only thing wrong with this race was the only thing the organisers could do nothing about - the heat!! Credit to the marshals, who must have been roasting, but still managed to be happy, friendly and encouraging to hoardes of hot runners.

In short: Great organisation by Alchester!
In full: A lovely race, despite the hills and rain (luckily neither lasted too long). Favourite bits were the offroad section and the finishers' bags! Every single marshall said something supportive as I went past, which doesn't always happen in races.

In short: Challenging hills, but at least they were in the first half!
In full: Nice route, good to run on closed roads. Enjoyed having the hills in the first half when I was energetic enough to deal with them! Great goody bag as well.

In short: Put some ghosts to rest this year!
In full: This is my local run, so I have to do it! Hated it last year but loved it this year... the hill didn't seem to bad this time round! The decision to give the kids a medal this year was the right one, according to my son! :-)

In short: Hot, hot, hot!
In full: Organisation was fab, the extra water station was appreciated in the hot weather, and the scenery was, for me, far prettier and rural than I expected. Look forward to trying again next February when it's cooler!

In short: Good race - shame about the wind!
In full: Great organisation by Silson Joggers - I entered on the day and entry process/picking up chips was quick and smooth.

Great PB potential if the weather conditions are right - unfortunately, I felt I was fighting the wind most of the way round, but would like to have another go next year under calmer conditions!

In short: Not the best scenery, but nice and flat!
In full: The multiple laps of the industrial park weren't inspiring, but they did mean good support from spectators. I had some brilliant support from other runners on the course which made time pass quicker!

I really don't see why the start was delayed, though.

In short: Enjoyable and well organised
In full: Thank you to the organisers at WHH- this was fab, lovely scenic (and flat) route, friendly and enthusiastic marshalling, loved the mug and t-shirt... And especially loved the cakes at the end. :-)

In short: Bargain of a race
In full: For £7 (affiliated) you get v smooth organisation, bottle of water, medal and t-shirt. On the downside, the marshals were the quietest I've ever seen - a bit more noise would have been appreciated!

In short: Good organisation as usual.
In full: For a big race, this is a bargain, with good organisation and marshalling. I couldn't see why they had to delay the start, though- you know it's a popular race, so set off in good time! Perfect weather this year, and a nicer t-shirt than last year (although still big enough to house an average family!).
