In short: Loved Every Second - let me in next year!
In full: It was my third London marathon. There seemed to be more support than the two previous times I had run. In my two previous Londons I had my two worst times (out on 10) but got a PB this time. I put this down to better organisation in terms of start zones. I was at the correct pace around mile 2.
For organisation and atmosphere you are never going to beat it.

In short: Good Marathon Warm Up
In full: Apart from the final half mile which looped around a housing estate thorough alley ways it is a very pleasant course with moderate hills. Perfect pre marathon test. The marshall's were excellent (there were loads)and the free to is one of the best.

In short: Good Summer Half. Not to hard a course, not to easy.
In full: The course had lots of marshalls and lots of water stations - which were needed on a hot day. There was a fair amount of support all the way round and all goos support came from the hundreds of walker that you overtake during the race.

In short: New Course was a winner!
In full: The new course was around 5.25 miles so PB was certain.
Glad of the dry weather over the last few days as it was muddy in places.
The course is tough but worth the effort for some stunning chiltern countryside.

In short: Well Organised Village Race
In full: The number of marshalls and police was amazing for such as small race. Surprised to get a banana, jelly babies, a good quality medal and water at the end.
The course is quite hilly and the final hill was a blower but new runners should not be put off. My friend did this as his first every race and he thought it was OK for beginners.
Good to see results in 5 year categorys from 20 years old up. It meant I won my race. Anything for a win.

In short: Hilly, but pleasant autumn run
In full: Well organised but the start still seems to confuse many.
Traffic free for most of the course so only the killer hills to worry about!

In short: Well organised and marshalled. Pleasant but undulating, traffic free course
In full: Was a welcome return for this race. I prefered the new course as it had less hills - especially the one that runs next to the school - its was a killer after 13 miles.
Only saw one car on route - and that was a police car. Well marshalled and organised. The route changed has made it easy for runner at the back off the field as they no longer have to battle with runners who have already finished and returning to their cars.

In short: 2 Hills but mainly flat well organised marathon.
In full: It did not seem there was that many people running the full mararthon. After the split I from the half I found myself runniing solo for a few miles.
It a bit disappointing that you have to run on the main road for about half a mile on each lap but this did not ruin a well marshalled and organised race. There was plently on water stops on route and was well supported in areas. The hill you go up twice was not that bad. I still managed a PB by 10 mins.
