In short: Great race.
In full: A race that seems to have been designed to be a fast race. Was quite windy along the front which threw a bit of a spanner in the works!! Brilliant to be able to see the front runners race unfold as the stormed back passed!! Back next year for sure, hope the wind isn't!!!

In short: Shame you can't turn the wind off!!
In full: Really well organised race, good course. Bit twisty in places, but good! The wind was a nightmare along the front!! Glad I made the journey!! The gate at the start being locked didn't cause a problem in the end. Good race, hope to be back next year!

In short: Short course.
In full: Drove a long long way to do this race. If you got a PB like I did, it doesnt count. Short by a quarter of a mile!! Thats a discrace in anyones eyes! And the medal was the cherry on the cake!

In short: Oh well, I was in the Isle of wight anyway!!
In full: Did this last year, so I already knew about the hideous medal and the fact its hard and hilly. But, this year was a bit of a big let down!!! The large field opposite was used for parking last year and was very convenient, this year it stood empty with everyone searching for elsewhere!! Then, at about mile 7 a massive group of us (Even a couple of local guys!!!) went the wrong way! I was on course to blow last years time out the water, but due to no marshall at a crossroads made the whole event a complete waste of time! As yet I have seen no apology on their website. Sorry Ryde Harriers, you had a shocker!

In short: Forget the "Flat" word. You only remember the hills.
In full: Not a fast run at all. Also, the fact it was steaming hot didnt help. Good challenging run though!!
