In short: Wet and Windy
In full: Got a PB despite the conditions so going to say a good race. Looked like everyone enjoyed themselves. Will do again next year. I think you could describe the wind and rain as invigorating!

In short: Hurray! got my under 2 hours and a PB
In full: Well organised throughout, I went for it from the start as I knew there was a hill later on and this seemed to pay off, weather was ideal.
The goody bag was excellent and included some nice sweet treats that I needed at the end.
If planning for 2010 then leave plenty of time to get from the car park.
I would say that 2100 runnners is about the limit but didn't seem to affect a lot of peoples times.
Nice touch as well to get my gun time texted to me as well as the big clock at the finish.

In short: Hot and Hilly
In full: A challanging 3 lap course through Blenheim Palace grounds. A tad more undulating than I thought and a nice warm day meant that it felt really hard going, certainly saw some people drop out.
Organisation was ok, ran out of water on 3rd lap and cups on half full. Glad I had a gel at the bottom of my bag to get in some sugar afterwards.
Saw some other runners litter which I thought was really annoying after all the effort people go in to arrange the event.
I must take my hat off to Mr Motivator marshall on the bridge, he did make me smile on each lap and was very vocal with is encouragement.
No idea what my time was thought it might be on the website, maybe will get it emailed who knows.
Will do again next year, will be a really nice event to take friends or family so the can enjoy a picnic in the grounds and get to cheer you on three times, or laugh as you look more in pain each lap

In short: Nice Day, Nice Race!
In full: A very hot day was made much more pleasant by having most of the course shaded by trees, second lap was hard going for me but really enjoyed it, distance from the car park a bit of a bind, but would rather not run from there, as the course was pretty much traffic free. Excellent organisation and marshalling throughout, not to worried about not having a goody bag, only critisism was that they could have had another water area at the end as was congested at the direct finish and I could have done with more than one cup.
