In short: Tough as you get but the rewards are fantastic
In full: Toughest half I have ever done, an I've done a few. Lots of hard hills which suits me as I'm a plodder. Fab scenery which rewards all the hard work. Incredibly friendly if sparse support and really well organised. Can't wait till next year

In short: Pretty quick. good early atmosphere a bit lacking on 2nd lap
In full: Overall I enjoyed this race. I got a huge pb in the marathon and a good undulating course. Marshalling excellent on the first lap but enthusiasm seemed to wane on the 2nd lap when everyone was spread out. Great medal and t shirt and nice goody bag

In short: Well organised, friendly atmosphere and a joy to run.
In full: Loved the hill at the start of each lap and lots of downhills to compensate for it. Well marshalled and a real picturesque setting. Definately one for the calendar next year.

In short: Tough and challenging, brill crowds and great organisation
In full: Definitely still my fave race. Loved the hills, the Berwick road one on 11 miles is a stunner, and was rewarded with my first gold. The crowds always make it special and I'll be back next year. Spot on Potts!!

In short: Great scenic route and great organisation. Definite for next year.
In full: I may be a bit biased as its my local race but this race really gets the best out of me. 2.18 pb and felt every mile of it. Very scenic route with lots of encouragement from the marshalls. Hills, lovely hills. Challenging but a fantastic feeling of achievement at the end.

In short: Fast and friendly but the start is a problem
In full: Enjoyable race with a great atmosphere and pb potential. Very well marshalled and good organisation. My only complaint would be that the start is too congested for the width of the road. I saw 2 separate incidents of people falling there may have been more. Otherwise a brill race.

In short: Challenging and fantastic scenery
In full: The toughest race I've ever done but probably the most satisfying. My first marathon and I've never experienced anything like the uphill at Waunfawr. Brilliant
