In short: Tough as you get but the rewards are fantastic In full: Toughest half I have ever done, an I've done a few. Lots of hard hills which suits me as I'm a plodder. Fab scenery which rewards all the hard work. Incredibly friendly if sparse support and really well organised. Can't wait till next year Date of review: May 29, 2011

Very well marshalled and good organisation. My only complaint would be that the start is too congested for the width of the road. I saw 2 separate incidents of people falling there may have been more. Otherwise a brill race. Date of review: February 1, 2009
