In short: Good race on quiet lanes In full: This was my second attempt, and the organisation was much better this time (not that it was very bad last time). Good atmosphere and plenty of marshals (thank you all) shouting encouragement. Well organised parking before the start. Best of all, this year blessed with glorious weather. In short: Great race in a lovely setting In full: Really enjoyed this as a short and sweet Friday evening run. One request to the organisers though - there were a lot of supporters present, who surely would have bought tea/coffee/cans whilst waiting. Just my other half's minor gripe. Don't let that that detract from a great event though. Big thanks to all the marshalls - your encouragement was very welcome. Date of review: August 30, 2009

In short: Very friendly well organised race in quiet lanes In full: Ran this in 2008. Really friendly people organising. There was a slight mix up with the final timings, and they ran out of the souvenir medals. But, they wrote afterwards a very apologetic letter, and forwarded on the medal (I think it was in the style of a horse brass) a couple of weeks later. So all was well. Just about to enter this one again for this year. Date of review: August 22, 2009

In short: Nice rice with good organisation. Back next year I think. In full: There was a bit more hilliness than I expected, which slowed mile 4 down, but allowed me to pick up mile 5 as the fastest mile of the race. Really friendly marshalls and good organisation. Thank you. Date of review: August 1, 2009

In short: Great race, well organised In full: Brilliant organisation - parking well marshalled. Little details which made it worthwhile like including safety pins with the numbers. A bit challenging in the middle with the last and biggest climb. It was my first Lichfield and only my third race ever, and I really enjoyed it. Date of review: September 9, 2007
