In short: Great atmosphere, well organised with stadium finish
In full: Despite the horrendous weather this year, the supporters turned out in their masses and the atmosphere was unaffected by the torrential rain! Not a scenic course but great for PB chasers. A special thanks to the marshals for doing a great job in such cold wet conditions. Stadium finish was fabulous as always.

In short: Excellent!
In full: One of my running club buddies called it the "walk and stumble" and they weren't wrong! If you're a slower runner like me make sure you buy your cake beforehand and then just relax and enjoy!!

In short: Very well organised and fantastic support along the route
In full: This was my first marathon and I can't fault the organisation. The route was varied and I agree with the comment that it broke down into manageable sections. The power station was a surprise to me, but even in that horrible industrial section there were marshals handing out drinks and gels and people had made it all the way out there to support the runners.

I hate to sound even slightly negative about this race, but I would agree that the goody bags were a little meagre!! Small thing though that shouldn't detract from this being a great race.

In full: Well done Swindon! I was a bit dubious about collected my race chip on the day - I was expecting long queues and having to race late to the start line. But organisation was excellent and I didn't have to queue for anything! Fantastic race once again - great atmosphere and challenging, scenic, course.

In full: This was a well organised race with a welcoming atmosphere - I really liked that the commentator picked out runners by name to encourage them as they approached the finish. Scenic route for the majority of the race and nice and flat. Not helped by the rain and mud but, as another runner commented, it added to the challenge! Good early start too.

In short: Would definitely do this one again - bottle of beer at the finish was a nice touch!
In full: Quite a clubby crowd which felt a little daunting for a novice, but very friendly and very well organised race. Even a few spectators out to cheer us on along the way!
