In short: A lovely event graced by to brilliant olympiads In full: I had to take my time as I am running the London Marathon on Sunday. However the event was such a pleasure to take part in last year so I decided to participate this year. I love the hands on involvement of Tessa Sanderson(a great Olympic Champion. It was brilliant too to see Sharon Davis an equally brilliant Olympic athlete. Date of review: April 20, 2010
In short: A tough 10K run! In full: I love Bluewater and really looked forward to taking part in the 10K run last year. I was forced to pull out due to injury in 2008. The course was really challenging. However, the friendly stewards and excellent organisation made the event great fun. I will certainly be back next yaer. Date of review: June 15, 2009
In short: Tough but worth it ! In full: I actually turned up in February only to find the event had been cancelled. An e-mail would have been useful. The weather on Sunday was a killer but the organisation was brilliant.Thank you to those kind marshalls who gave me extra water. I may have been one of the last ones to finish but I will train harder and be back next year. Date of review: May 25, 2009
In short: An enjoyable run with great marshalls and traffic free! In full: I work in Newham and this event was a positive advertisement for the Olympic Games and Newham. Well done to the event organisers. I will certainly be back next year- perhaps with a few friends to run with me. Date of review: April 19, 2009
In short: Graet run.Fantastic Marshalls In full: I came from Woodford in Essex to take part in this event.I am not fast but the support given on the course would encourage me to take part in this event next year. A special thank you to the kind Marshall who gave me a sunny delight drink at just over nine miles. I needed that drink and it gave me extra energy as I came to the end of the race. In short: I'll be back for the fifth time next ! In full: I really enjoyed the Great South Run.It is my favourite run of the year the course is fast and flat. .The organization was great-despite - me being allocated a starting place in the Orange Zone A (not the Green Zone A).I used common sense and queried my allocation and was told to start in a more appropriate zone-which I did! The weather was poor for the third year in a row. However, I still managed to meet my target-for which I was really pleased. Keep up the good work organisers!
