In short: Potentially a great race but totally destroyed by the weather...should have been postponed
In full: I don't want to spoil all the celebrations...and I am proud of all you who enjoyed and finished the event...but for me this was the most disapointing race I have ever taken part in. partly my own fault because I imagined ultras to be extended marathons but I cvan't understand why this race was allowed to go ahead in such adverse conditions which could have been life threatening in some cases. This race really needs to be held later in the yera to avoid such bad conditions.

In short: A decent marathon but the three laps won't suit many runners
In full: Worth turning up for and the course does have definite pb potential but the weather was savage and ruined all my hope of a decent time. The organisers should consider extending the length of the laps so we don't have to run three laps, which is far too many

In short: What a day!...tough and undulating and the hardest weather conditions I've ran in so far
In full: This race was a total rollercoaster in physical profile and emotionally. It started off with a challenging two laps of Pensilva village and some tough hills out onto the moor. Foolishly I didn't believe the warnings from the organisers about the long and exposed roads across the moor and it was savage to say the least...long sloping roads past Dozmary pool against lashing cold wind....by now I was coming up to half way on almost 1 hour 45 and I thought it was all over for a decent race but there was a brilliant atmosphere and comradery towards the last 10 miles. Thanks to number 143...what a finish at the end...you beat me by 1 second!

In short: Enjoyable Half Marathon around a challenging course
In full: Very wet and windy but it added to the challenge...how people came away with 1:18 times I will never understand...but it was well worth turning up for and was a good cool down race or a warm up for a bigger race.

In short: Tougher than any of us imagined...hard two lap couse
In full: This is harder than it looks on paper or than this websiite rates it....the course comprises oof mainly long gradual slopes and steep inclines...and you have to do it twice...still quick enough for a pb though...a good race

In short: Without doubt the best and toughest race in South England!!! You must do this!!!
In full: This is the best race that I have ever ran...that atmosphere at the start with almost 1000 runners and their families crammmed inot Corfe common is electric...everyonbe expecting and knowing that trhey will be taking on something spaecial...then it starts up and around Corfe common is a challenge in itself but there are steep narrow rocky paths, those sets of madly steep 200+ steps amnd the most amazing views you'll will see in England. This is an absolutely spectacular run and the organisers deserve massive congartulations for there hardwork and imagination.

In short: A real off-road trail marathon and amazingly well organised
In full: The organisation at this event is very good and there are signs at every corner...you'll never get lost...the course os quite hard though with regular winding hills but also nice downhill sections...watch out for the slipperry chalk section at the start..I cut my knee open on it badly...

In short: One of the best organised marathons around and most probably the best road marathon in the south
In full: This is an excellent event...the organisation is second to none...other runners are exceptionally warm and friendly and the course is beautiful and promising for pbs...

In short: Ist 13 Miles are good but last halkf is terribly boring
In full: Iyt started off so well...going through the country estates and occasional field until that ridiculous field going on for over 3 miles. A strange ending with runners having to squeeze through pedestrians in the town centre. This is definitely not a fast race...I turned upo expecting 3:30 but came away with 4:10 after getting lost three times. Th erace desperately needs distance markers and regular drink sations.
