In short: Great race - would do it again
In full: This was a great race that went through the middle of Cambridge. Very flat course with defininite PB potential. The start pens were too cramped and spent the first couple of miles puching through the slower runners, but I guess that was my fault for starting too far back. Overall a really superb race.

In short: One of the best halfs around
In full: I've done a few half marathons now and can honestly say that this is up there with the best. The organisation from start to finish was excellent. The course was scenic and a great run. The hill half way round is long and drains your legs, but surely this just adds to the experience? I am certainly going to do this again next year.

In short: Great local race
In full: For a local race this is a great event and I will certainly be adding it to my list next year.

In short: Great run
In full: This is a great run and I thought it went well seeing as though this was the first time it took place.
It was quite annoying not being able to get past people on the single track so I'd advise pushing to the front at the start if you want to get a good time. Also I prefer to recce a course prior to race day which wasn't an option as the route wasn't published.
However I had a great time - even on Bison Hill. Will definitely be back again next year.

In short: Big long tiring weary hill
In full: Half the race seemed to be steeply uphill and the other half down again. Shame there were no road closures but will certainly be back next year

In short: Could have been better
In full: The organistation at the start was a shambles with long queues and the championchip timing didn't seem to be working... Stevenage is not known for it's good looks so the race itself was uninspiring. However it was fairly quick and I got a new PB so I'm happy. There are better races around though and I probably won't do it again...

In short: I had a great time...
In full: The tubes and buses were terrible, truly awful... But this is not the fault of the race organisers. The weather was wet and cold. But what do expect from a race in October? I had a great time and thought the course was really good. Considering this was the first ever Run to the Beat I thought it was organised pretty well. Who cares if you didn't get a free T-shirt? Surely it was about the running and not the freebies that attracted you in the first place?

In short: Brilliant race but the hills are hard!
In full: Great scenery, absolutely lovely area although those hills are a killer... No chance of a PB but I'll definately do it again

In short: This was a concert not a race
In full: Good points - I actually quite like running in the rain and the thunderstorm was fairly dramatic

Bad points - Having to go to Nike Town to pick up the T-shirt & chip (Why not post them?), Having to wait standing up for an hour and a half in the cold for the race while being bombarded with music that I didn't like , my feet aching before the race even began, not having signs for the exit to the tube after the race

Notice that everything Nike had control of fits neatly into the BAD points!
