In short: You just have to do it
In full: only one negitive point and that was the delay at the start, I was in blue muster and I didnt get over start line until 10:45 and by this time I was getting a wee tad cold. Everything else ticked the boxes, well marshalled, good water stations, great support from the unofficial water station and great crowd support for most of the run,but I still dont get the hype about the Kingston bridge. Oh and the t shirt was a disgrace, for the price of entry surely we can get a proper running t shirt. But no doubt I will be back next year to give it another go.

In short: And as if by magic the sun shone
In full: Well organised again.Even managed to order sunshine on the afternoon after a lot of rain the day before.Very windy after the turn at 7miles tho which kept the times down for many of us.(thats my excuse this yr)
wonderful feeling running around the arena of my local Highland games and hearing my name being shouted by friends and family.
Well done Alistair and his team.

In short: If you only run one half it must be this one !!
In full: What a fantastic day, truly blew my mind away. People so friendly and the crowds were fantastic. When I started to get a wee bit tired(11mile) crowds just seem to get up going again. Only down point is cost of weekend, would have been cheaper going to Spain for 2wks!!

In short: slow start fast finish
In full: Could do with splitting muster groups, down to a light jog after just 100m due to numbers going up first hill. But spread out by Kingston bridge. Loved the route thro the parks and the finish is special.

In short: Is there a more scenic 10k?
In full: this is a race to take in the scenery certainly not a pb course with lots of hills and today was so hot, well organised and presented will be back next year but will take extra sun cream.
