In short: Absolutely Brilliant
In full: Can't speak (rave?) highly enough about this event - just brilliant - as everyone says hills are killers but I knew that before I signed up - weather, views, marshalls, other competitors, organisation and just about everything make this the best event by miles

In short: Good well organised event - enjoyed ethe whole day
In full: Really enjoyed this event - good course - challenging in places (the long hill the second time around) and needed to buckle down to it in the sunshine on the Greenway.

One or two gripes about the start - but there were plenty of water stops and cups don't bother me as I don't carry a bottle.

As ever Marshalls did a great job and personally I thought the medal was one of the best - I don't run races for a goody bag so not bothered about the lack of one.

I will do this one again - but probably not next year.

In short: Full marks to Bedford Harriers for a gerat event
In full: Second time of running - second PB - can't fault the event (well working showers would of been nice) other than that great event, good (but challenging in places) course - Marshalls and Orgnaisation were excellent - and the Sun even shone at the end!

In short: Steep price - gerat course and scenery - need to iron out some problems
In full: This was home territory for me - so regularly run all or parts of the course, so no surprises for me, and could walk to the start from home. Seemed good atmosphere and organisation pre-the race, although a route map prior to the event would have been useful.

Scenery and course both excellent even though I still haven't managed to run up the steps at Bison hill in training or in this race!!!

Just felt that it was overpriced (even allowing for the goodies) and lack of marshalls in some strategic places caused problems (I understand that the lead group on the 10K missed a turn and only completed 8 and a bit kms).

Need to iron out the kinks and provide better value for money (or reduce the cost).

In short: Good well organised race - plenty of supportive Marshalls
In full: Good well organised race - early bits dull, but out in countryside, the parks and down by the river made up for it. Well marshalled with plenty of water stops. Traffic seperation excellent (even though a couple of drivers seemed to take it as a personal affront that they had to wait and took it out verbally on those running by - the charm of the English!). Running through the town centre at the end past the oblivious shoppers and the people tucking into the lager and pizzas in the cafes was surreal. All in all a very good marathon / day - the only downside which was down to me and not the race - I had a mare of day and came in 30minutes behind where I wanted to be - pulled something in my calf and my stomach disagreed with my first gel and made me want to heave - walk/ran the last 6 miles - ho hum - and as the wife said when I went looking for sympathay - you chose to Bl@@dy run it, quit your whining!

In short: can't find fault - one of the best - HRR should be very proud
In full: 2nd year of running and haven't found fault with anything again. Marshalls and eveyone else involved need to take a bow you were awesome - am still smiling even though I missed a PB by 40 seconds this kind of event just makes you understand what great people are involved in running!

In short: Brilliant race - Brighton and its people should be very proud
In full: This was a brilliant race - especially for a first running, Marshalls as ever at these event were terrific as was all the support:-

Plus Points - Clockwork Organisation, plenty of water/powerade stations - plenty of first aid cover - start area was great - pen system was good (although I was in red the starting pen - so not sure how long those down the field took to cross the starting line) - finish line / baggage / goody bag handing were very slick

Slight niggles - delay at start was frustrating-in last couple of miles there was not enough segregation of the crowds from the runners - and was there no other way out of the finish but to climb all those steps???

Everoneeconnected including those magnificent supporters should be very proud

In short: V well Organised - as ever Marshall brilliant
In full: Undualtating at the least - no big hills - organisation excellent - marshalls lots of them and all smiling - brilliant - only gripe that last half mile through the housing estate and around the field - began to lose the will to live - and I'm now officially a chav with my own hoodie!!!!
