In short: Organisation Failure
In full: I've done many of these races esp the 2:09 events and all I have raved about. Today however something went slightly wrong for some. I chatted to many who had either been sent the wrong way or had lost the markers. I suffered with a group mid-race and it seemed to cost about a mile. There was a significant lack of Marshall's or sensible drinking stations - c'mon guys, you used to hand out bottles, no runner want's to cough up £25 to be handed two plastic cups of water.

An earlier comment by another runner blamed the course issues on silly runners who blindly follow like sheep - very helpful, I wish I was so perfect.

Great course with some wonderful challenges just let down by what seemed to be some petty cost savings by the organisers.

In short: Nice honest quick race but marred by lack of facilities
In full: Good point for the race itself, fast, well marked out, easy scenery but I simply resent paying for a race with a large entry and having to queue for 20+ mins to use on of only 2 toilets. Not good enough, spend some money next year and resolve the situation.

In short: Good race, organisation, setting, trail, ample water stations. BUT! shocking on the day pricing of up to £17 and c'mon guys, 4 portaloo's for some 600+ ladies, you should be ashamed!
In full: I'd do it again but given the cost of the race versus the basics of toilets etc. I'd have to question if some 'advantage' was being taken here.

In short: Parking, Parking, Parking
In full: I turned up 30mins prior to the start to find that I had to park 2.5k from the start line and had family with me, we got to the start line with minutes to spare. I absolutely agree with an on-time start esp. in cold conditions but any improvement to the parking planning would be great. On the outbound leg after the start I passed several runners still trying to make their way to the start line. Otherwise and not to be forgot, a very good event.

In short: A couple of slow muddy hills but som fast parts too
In full: Race was good, good support and marshalling superb. Facilities good too but one hick-up. The Cattle control gate en-route from and returning to the car park culd have been removed and/ormarshalled for the morning. Big que in cold wet conditions was no fun for back runners. But overall, well done. Cheers
