In short: Superb event, incredible organisation.
In full: I can't imagine many first time events are so well organised and go as smoothly as this. Mildly challenging course but definitely one for a PB.

In short: Superb race
In full: Brilliant race - lovely and low key and very friendly. On the first long lap, I thought that the "hills" were steep but short and no problem really. A little harder on the second long lap but by the last they really hurt.

I hope it's back next year - either on the same scale with the park open to the public (as an off road and ultra runner, I'm used to sharing paths with walkers, cyclists, etc) or with the park closed and more runners.. hopefully not too many more though :)

In short: mud, brilliant, mud, cake, mud, rain, mud, cold, mud.
In full: Brilliantly organised and well marshalled, despite some horrible weather in the second half. The mud made what would be an already tough event a real challenge but I didn't encounter anyone who was too down about it - lots of fun had by all.

The hosing down of shoes at the end was a great touch, as was the cake and hot drinks (amazing lemon drizzle cake).

The only problem I had was getting out of the "car park" - the field we parked in was not in a great condition by the end and I ended up helping push a van out of the mud, and having my car pushed out of the mud in return. Can't be helped though - just one of those things.

In short: Absolutely superb race
In full: Great mixed terrain, brilliant organisation and marshalling and really good value too. We were also blessed with great weather (given the recent snow and sub-zero temperatures) which made for perfect conditions and I got a big PB :)

In short: Once again a superb race - well done Purple Patch
In full: My third running of this event and despite the heat towards the end I somehow pulled a PB out of the bag :)
Brilliantly organised and marshalled and a definite must-do event for me.

In short: Super windy but flat and fast
In full: I'm coming to love these races after doing well last year and improving massively here this year. Superb organisation, very friendly and super fast despite the wind.

In short: superbly organised and marshalled
In full: Great race - good fast course and very well marshalled. Unfortunately there were a few cars trying to sneak along the closed roads here and there including one right outside the gates into the park just when you want to break into a sprint finish!
Great goody bag though and friendly local support - one to do again.
