In short: Well organised, happy marshals but very cold!!!
In full: Extremely well organised from beginning to end (like the fact you find out immediately on a print out how you ran, time, overall position etc). The marshalls were all very upbeat and happy despite standing out in the cold! May well be back for more of these events later on in the year!

In short: Disgraceful!
In full: In my opinion this "race" should have been cancelled due to the extreme, muddy and at times very dangerous conditions. This race was completely mis-represented on the organisers website and I strongly advise that you don't compete in this if this is your first 10km race ever or if you are using this race as part of your half/marathan training plan. The mars bar received at the end didn't make up for this poor, poor race. Finally, signs should have been put up on the campus to help direct people to the correct area.

In short: Bigger goodie bag than last year!
In full: Muggy to be running an 8km but the goodie bag more than made up for it - this is definately the best goodie bag I've ever received! Got the feeling that not many people actually ran this, but walked which is ok but yet again like last year I was running on my own around the majority of the lake.

In short: Hot, hot, hot run!
In full: Well organised run, with lots of helpful marshalls along the way. Only negative is the lack of markers and it was pretty hot as the race started fairly late in the day (ontime - 10.45 for the 5km). Received a medal and bottle of water at the finish line. Ran this twice now and will be back again.

In short: Friendly run around the lovely Virginia Water. Amazing goodie bag!
In full: Friendly atmosphere, mainly mothers with their kids but also a few dad's and also a few running without a buggy - like me. Very friendly atmosphere, gentle warm up at the beginning. Only niggle is that there were no markers at all although the 1 water station was at the half way point. Amazing goodie bags (yes 2!) consisting of baby food & 2 bibs plus toiletries, can of diet coke, twix, coupons. Would run again as well organised, friendly and it's always lovely running around Virginia Water. The rain just about held off for us! Hope it's held again.
