In short: Such a great event, really friendly atmosphere that takes over the whole village. In full: This is a fantastic 10k, a mostly flat route that is like a figure 8 so you come through the village mid way (to lots of cheering!) which is a real boost and fun for spectators. Lots going on around the event, so well worth allowing time to soak up the atmosphere afterwards. Bit of a detour needed to get out of HBO afterwards. Date of review: June 5, 2012

In short: C&C have got the organisation well wrapped up. Really great atmosphere for all levels of runner and a nice medal and goody bag to finish. The course is all off road which could make a PB challenging but better for your knees and keeps it interesting. Date of review: April 15, 2012

In short: If you live in Cambridgeshire this felt a lot more than undulating, but a great course and what goes up must come down.. In full: Really enjoyed the atmosphere, busy at the start and parking is always going to be an issue for a relatively big race. Great orange top!! Frequent water stops were very welcome as were all the encouraging cheers from marshals and supporters. Drinks and fruit at the end were a nice touch, thank you Oakley! Date of review: April 1, 2012

In short: Fast course, perfect for a bash at a PB In full: The course is good, I rather like the turning points so you can see other runners and it's better than running straight along one long fen road! Bit of track makes it interesting and a good finish back through the village. Really nice welcoming atmosphere for all levels of runners. Thank you Thorney. Date of review: March 25, 2012

In short: An absolute favourite, I come back time and time again. In full: Thanet roadrunners are brilliant at organising, better year after year. So encouraging on the way round and marshals at all key points. Fantastic route, nice ups and downs and such a varied route keeps it all interesting. Good idea to do the loops at the start to make up the mileage so a nice sprint back along the front at the end. Lots of prizes for the winners and a great medal, T shirt and snacks for everyone. Love this race! Date of review: March 5, 2012

In short: Unusual course, taking in housing estates, roads, paths, tracks and underpasses...all surprisingly distracting, in a good way. Quick flat course so PB territory. Medal would've been nicer than water bottle next time please. Date of review: December 6, 2011
