In short: Goes down as one of my must do races of the year!
In full: How on earth did I miss this gem of a race.
I liked the ups and esepcially the downs at the end. Scenic, marshalls were brilliant, if I had trained just that little bit harder could have hit a pb with a bit of effort.

I will be back next year, loved it :-D

In short: for me this race is quite simply "The Best"
In full: yes it is a bit challenging in places but providing you have behaved yourself the night before you can pb on this one.

Excellent organisation, Super Marshalls
Great Course, Great Momento

In short: Riverside - 'LETS GO'
In full: An absolute must do - chipped time half.

From the moment to being parked to the end of the race, it ran like clockwork.

Marshalls were friendly and very efficient, and not at all bossy A*******.

Yes this race was not as flat as I thought but come on we all need a bit of a challenge to take us off the 13.1 miles as we make our way round.

The tech top was just the icing on the cake, everyone loved them.

Thank you Riverside - splendid!

In short: been before and I will be back for more!
In full: Even though this is a bit far out for me, well worth the trip. The combination of the super flat course, the extra hour in bed, easy to find location and super friendly marshalls make this a MUST DO event. My only hesitation in giving this full marks is that it will sell out before I enter next year. Please inform me when it opens for entries. Ace Race

In short: A bit of a Bank Holiday Hill Challenge Special
In full: This race is quite challenging but the brilliant and friendly Road Runners always make it a race to return to.

This was my third Moulton 10K
It killed me this time but the atmosphere more than made up for it.

hmmmmmm.... Moulton 10K vests are the only one's I keep the rest get thrown out with the rubbish..... not nearly as good quality as the 2nd and 3rd.... still I guess people prefer cakes to cotton :-(

Brilliant Effort NRR - of course if I can I will be taking on the challenge again next year

In short: Always a Great Race
In full: Flat as a pancake
Lovely scenary
Great people

+This race has full PB potential and always very enjoyable.

Had a great day
BUT.........
no headphones in this race

The guy who made it his personal mission to flag down headphone wearers and put them off did ruin it a bit.... and put me right off.

This was a big shame as all the other Thorney marshalls were brilliant.

There should have been an announcement at the start of the race which clearly stated that wearing headphones was a no no. I would have resected their decision... slowing racers down mid race did not help at all.

Appart from that loved it as usual! Well done Thorney

In short: Friendly with PB Potential
In full: 2nd time in for this one
if you are on form despite the undulations you could pb on this race - despite the undulating description 'you do see some hills' there are 2 x laps of stadium which does compensate.

Sadly for me I turned up 1 minute before start up but 'BIG THANK YOU' to all who managed to sort me out at the end... with the number etc + Marshall Billy.

Brilliant support by some of the Marshalls especially the lady marshall on the courner who quite frankly was superb....

In the rain and with some of the undulations this was quite tough but if I hadn't have had to go to the loo on route ... I would have pb'd. Yes I will be back next year .... errr and on time. Great Gem of a Race :-D

In short: Probably my most enjoyable Half Marathon Ever
In full: in terms of the undulations everybody complained about the ups but the downs more than made up for it as from mile 7 it was downhill all the way. Fantastic race, great marshalls.

The rugby shirt was not to my taste but I am quite fussy about that kind of thing.
TOP TOP HALF :-D
