In short: From low beginnings to one of the best marathons in the uk
In full: My 3rd running in this event, a well organised marathon with good and friendly Marshals. still needs some extra toilets at Race HQ, understand the need for start finish change which assists everyone. Well done to all, see you next year

In short: The Hotest Marathon I've ever run!!!
In full: A very friendly race, well organised, with excellent marshals, who encouraged you all the way round...twice! Plenty of water on the course, and given the conditions was very necessary. Thank you Mablethorpe for an enjoyable day.

In short: Only able to do two days but loved the event
In full: Found the event by accident, but very pleased to have done so. Only able to do two days due to other commitments, but will make space fully for next year. Very friendly, and great to relax and have a beer with runners, walkers, and cycleists from all over the country

In short: A good race, pleasent way to start the Marathon year
In full: Yes, people will complain about some of the organisation, car parking, and communication. but in the great shape of things "no big deal" Race starts on time, drink stations are manned and the Marshalls, as always, are first class. Continue to support this race, and recommend to others....Thank you for another great day.

In short: You dont pick the weather...the weather picks you!!
In full: What I planned as a good training run, due to the wind, turned into a challenging run!! my thanks to all the marshals who gave up their time, and stuck it out.Enjoyed the day, expected a no frills marathon, and that was exactly what was in the tin. Drink stations were fine, signage was good and clear, no complaints thank you to all envolved, but dont forget to send me the T shirt.

In short: Well organised race on a fast course
In full:
Very well organised and proffessionaly managed race. Good and regular drinks stations on a warm day. Excllent First aid support. A very safe course, with suprisingly good support. Shame the last 2 miles were slightly up hill otherwise a very flat course, with good pb potential

In short: An excellent race, well marshalled, good organisation and very friendly
In full: I have read the negative comments on this race over the past 2 years, but I am so pleased I came to find out for myself. Its a very good marathon, for the road running purist, its exactly what it says on the tin. The Marshells and feeding stations were good, medical and Police support were evident, and the course was mildly undulating but balanced. I would reccommend this race to anyone who enjoys a good Marathon. If you want brass bands, and be treated like a champion racehorse go elsewhere. my only critisism would be that a cup of tea and a piece of cake could quite easily been included in the price.

In short: A very friendly and well organised race, with some of the best marshals to be found anywhere...Strongly disagree with Stacey and Daryll's comments
In full: as ever an excellent race with a variety of sceenary, and undulation. Marshals were top class, enthusiastic, and helpful as alaways. The race gets btter each year, I, for one, will be back.
