In short: A good but tough start to the day!
In full: A hard but rewarding run within a beautiful setting. The organisation was spot on and the marshals very supportive. Not sure why I got a ladies deodorant in my goodie bag!?

In short: Best race of the year!!
In full: My third time and just as great as ever. I'd recommend it to anyone but if you are going to give it a go make sure you get some hill training in! The organisation was as spot on as ever and the marshals were very encouraging. The atmosphere was brilliant as usual - my favourite race. Wild horses couldn't keep me away - I'll definitely be back for more next year.

In short: Yet another brilliant Trionium event.
In full: A very tough run made easier by the great organisation, the best marshals, perfect weather and scenery and great fellow nutters. I'd thoroughly recommend any Trionium event and this was a cracker. Speaking of which roll on the Knacker Cracker, Box Hill 1st Jan - definitely the best event of the year for me - and this came pretty close!

In short: That was hard!
In full: What a great event, my first Munro (I really don't envisage ever doing the Picnic - those people really are mad). If you fancy giving this race a go then you cannot do enough hill training - and take it easy on the way out (I wish I'd done that I was totally knackered on the way back). I don't even want to think about the steps today. I'll be back for more punishment next year!

In short: A very agreeable way to spend a Sunday morning.
In full: Beautiful surroundings and luckily perfect weather! Faultless organisation as is the norm at a Trionium event. This was a very enjoyable run - the start was uphill for about 1.5k but made for a great sprint to the finish. I'll definitely be back again next year!

In short: What a great race!
In full: Fantastic day, challenging run, superb views and wasn't the weather perfect? I rated this as a PB dead cert as it was my first half - and what a memorable one. The fry up after was a genius of an idea. Organisation was typically spot on for a Trionium event and all the marshalls were very encouraging. I'll definitely be back next year.

In short: The only way to start the year!
In full: If you are thinking about doing this run then go for it! You will hurt but it is definitely worth it. The organisation is perfect (a special thanks to all for such a great job). The scenery is fantastic - when you feel up to looking. And when you finish you get all sorts of goodies - most importantly a carrot which you can have with your New Years Day dinner!

Then there are the great costumes! I was chased up and down a hill by an attractive nun today - how often does that happen? This is definitely a very special race and I will be back next year and may even consider some fancy dress myself.

In short: I really enjoyed it - a great morning.
In full: Many thanks to the organisers and marshals - a great job well done and they were very encouraging. It was rather more hilly than I thought - not especially steep but just a lot of slopes. I will definitely give it another go next year. The only negative I have to add was my disappointment at the lack of manners of many afterwards. When Dr Rob was announcing the winners and giving out the raffle prizes people just wouldn't shut up. If they weren't interested they could have gone outside so those that were could hear.

In short: You've got to do it - better than sitting at home with rubbish telly!
In full: A fantastic start to the new year. Everyone seemed to be really enjoying themselves. The mud wasn't too deep (though sticky) but the downhills were treacherous - landed on my bum a couple of times!

"I'll be back!"
