In short: Huge Festive fun for all, adults, kids and non runners alike. Great atmosphere. In full: Always great to run in Liverpool so worth the trip from London. Did the race in good time then a 1k with my 9 year old 'mini-me' lots of fun but some MAJORLY competitive dads! Snow machine, cool medals for adults and kids but goody bag not good for kids!Lovely atmosphere and beautiful day. Will do it next year, but not one for speed as lots of walkers just having fun - which is great! Date of review: December 19, 2008

In short: Merseyside shows how cool it is yet again! In full: bit late to review but having done the British 10k today, had to add a positive review. Visited Liverpool for this race and did it with hubby. Great run, space and views great. Loved the atmosphere and the friendliness of runners and spectators. Would do this again anytime, great value and very well organised. Topped off by Macca! Date of review: July 6, 2008

I am a considerate runner and moved over to allow people past and always took care to move out whilst checking. I agree that some idiots spread out and walked slowly so we all had to run round them, but the lack of courtesy displayed by many of the runners - mostly male, was inexcusable. Poor goody bag, and confusing km markers, and although I had no baggage to collect, I found it puzzling to work out where to get my medal. Would do it again but keep my elbows out so some of the thugs in vests don't knock me over again. Date of review: July 6, 2008
