In short: My highlight of the week In full: This race has changed my life! I now love running, and I have met lots of lovely people. When I drive past joggers on my way to the start I feel like saying "what are you doing? Jump in! Didn't you know that the friendliest race in the world is just round the corner!" In short: Lovely race on a nice, cool morning In full: Only my 2nd 10k and I really enjoyed it. I must say I wasn't consfused at all, I thought the marshalling was excellent and I have no complaints. Well done! Date of review: June 21, 2009

2008 Beddington Park 10K Fun Run

In short: Perfect first 10k - flat and 4 laps In full: This was the perfect 10k for me. I'm in my 50's, running my first 10k and recovering from an injury; so it was great to be running 4 laps - if I couldn't make it I wouldn't have to trek back to the start from miles away. Also, my supporters could cheer me on whenever I ran round, it was a flat course, and it was away from the road.
The marshalls were friendly as well.
Finishing my fist 10k made me feel wonderful, so thank you!! I'll be back next year.
By the way, if you had trouble parking, just use one of the other car parks, eg on the Hackbridge Road. It's no more than 10 minutes from the start and can just be part of your warm up/down. Date of review: December 1, 2008
