In short: Mostly off road 10K, not one for a PB
In full: I found this race a challenge mainly because I haven't done too much training for it because of a knee injury. But despite this I really enjoyed the race and will be back to do it again next year.

Off road isn't my favourite race to be honest but the spectacular views more than made up for this and the weather was fantastic.

The organisation i found was excellent despite no one really knowing where the start was until close to the race start. Parking was well orgaised and there seemed to be plenty of spaces available to anyone wishing to park.

I hope everyone else had a good time at the race as I did and there isn't too many ache's and pains following the race.

In short: I enjoyed this race, the atmosphere was fantastic and it's my home city!!
In full: Overall I enjoyed taking part in this race and would do it again next year. I think it has a definate PB potential providing you listen out for the announcements(which I found difficult to hear) telling you when to go to the start area depending on your estimated finish time.

I found the course relatively flat with a few small inclines, but nothing to get too worried about. You actually do a U-turn on meanwood road so you don't get to the big-ish hill further along that road which you run up on the Leeds half marathon.

The plane flying overhead congratulating runners at the race finish was a nice touch.

Thanks to Jane Tomlinson and everyone else involved in organising such a fantastic event and I hope it proves to be just as successful next year.

In short: My First Half Marathon!!
In full: My first half marathon and achieved 1.46.29 which I was very pleased with.
The start was well organised where I found there to be a really friendly pre-race atmosphere. The Hill between 3 and 4 miles is the steepest hill on the course, but really isn't as bad as some people say.
My only critism of this course is some of the bottle necks where we had to run on the pavements, This slowed people down quite bit.
But other than that, I had a fantastic time and the finish was amazing, all credit to Leeds City Council, the Police and the scouts, oh and not forgetting GE Capital for sponsering the event.

Well done everyone!
