In short: A decent challenge , in lovely countryside
In full: I enjoyed this first time event and it was for a good cause, I managed over 11 miles after short detour (must read directions), but no problems it was a trail race, that's normal. Like a few others missed the first water stop, so was ready for the next one at mile 9! Liked the tea, coffee biscuits at end, would have liked a bit more in the way of a cake selection.

In short: It's muddy, so what's not to like
In full: 2nd time doing this, love it and hate in equal measure, and will probably be back to try it again next year. Great organisation, atmosphere. Liked the food selection at 3rd water stop. You just can't train for that type of mud between miles 7 & 9. Thanks to the Benfleet Runnining club for another great event.

In short: Fantastic event fast flat course, well organised, great spectator support.
In full: Done a few Bupa races, but this is my favourite one. This year the weather was perfect, which was great for running on what is a very fast course. The weather meant there was terrific support most of the way round, which really helps. My only comment to organisers, can you arrange with powerade to provide smaller bottles, it's a big waste and bit of trip hazzard.

In short: Brighton Rocks
In full: Great first Marathon event for Brighton, well organised race from start to finish,a big thank you to the marshalls for their encouragement. Superb support pretty much all the way round. Weather was fantastic... especially for the supporters, it made for a memorable day.

In short: Well organised race, reasonably flat PB course through lovely countryside
In full: Enjoyed this race, good organisation and good support from marshalls and locals throughout. Plenty of water stations, greatful for the sponges on a reasonably warm day, loved the idea of the bloke in the stocks in one of the villages, very funny. Will definitely be back next year for this one.

In short: Nearly 2000 hardy runners turned up - tells you all you need to know
In full: The weather was appalling, nothing you can do about that. Organisation was great, excellent value for money, great goody bag, t-shirt and medal. The weather was appalling, nothing you can do about that. Organisation was great, excellent value for money, great goody bag, t-shirt and medal. Well supported throughout both by Marshall’s and spectators, especially on the top of that big hill at mile 7/8. Definitely will do this one again.

In short: Well organised, well marshalled event, slightly challenging!!
In full: Some tough hills but some good down hill bits as well. Great weather, nice location, very well organised. Well done Dartford. Will be back to try again. As some others have mentioned, would prefer medal.

In short: Nice race. Will come back next year but hope for better weather conditions
In full: I enjoyed this one, just a shame about the appalling weather. well organised, nice goodies at the end and some really good encouragement on the way round. Just one hill to speak of so has good potential for a quick time, will try again next year.

In short: Special race, fantastic atmosphere, great to be part of it.
In full: I've done it now, but would probably do it again, really enjoyed the whole weekend in Newcastle. The race is crowded pretty much all the way round so difficult to call it a race, spend lots of time dodging other runners but the the spectators and atmosphere make up for any negatives.
