In short: Just not good enough!
In full: Same thing every year, parking is a joke and again delayed the start, water in cups! which along with a lack of marshals to tend to the fallen showed a complete lack of regard for the conditions and runners. 3rd time of running and should have known better, there are much better races around Hull, pick one of those, in fact anyone of those! Appalling.

In full: It's not often you get to run over a landmark! good run with friendly atmosphere and marshals. Great value goodie bag and a really good T-shirt with unique design! Great day.

In short: Just a good fun day out!
In full: Don't go there expecting to run under 1.35 unless you are very near the front. even then you will be overtaking slow runners from the start to the finish, and wondering how the hell they got there. However if you just want to finish a half, or if its your first and you want to beat 2 hrs, then there is no better run. treat it as a very big fun run and you will have the time of your life!

In short: A very good and challenging race, but they need to widen the course
In full: A good route but where the course singles down to a very narrow path it is very hard to get passed the people who should have started at the back. If they plan to keep the route they need to start a pen system.
Very nice medal, and great marshals/volunteers as always in Leeds. Thanks

In short: A course that make the race
In full: as always well enough organised, but the worst t shirt I have seen in a long time. No date and the biggest sponsors logo on the front I have ever seen. when you consider some races (Beverley for example) gave smart technical T's this was poor reward for a tough old course.

In short: Great city, great race, why the Expo???
In full: Great city, fab finish with a nice party atmosphere. However, why oh why did they insist on the expo? It took half of Saturday to collect a number and T Shirt when I wanted to be in the city.

In short: Good race, great course, great support but poorly organised start and finish.
In full: Great course through a beautiful town and countryside. Only grumbles were the start, too many people in too small an area, and the finish was 2 people wide so some pushing needed to get by. if these are sorted the race really would be top class.
