In short: Another well organised event for a good cause!!
In full: My Sixth year of running this one!
Well done to the organisers again for a well organised event, that was apart from the start when they couldn't find anything to start the race with! Ended up with a 1,2,3...........go! start lol! This all tied in with the Marham village fun day which get the family ocupied whilst I was running! I have always enjoyed supporting this race as it raises valueable funds for the 'out and about' charity based in Ipswich. Well done to all that took part this year...........here's looking forward to next year!

In short: Glad to see the Mablethorpe Marathon Has returned!!
In full: Was very glad to see the return of the Mablethorpe Marathon. I last took part in 2008 and found it to be great. This race was no different. I found the organisation to be as slick as previous and the Marshallers were all super friendly as always. The highlight for me was 'smashing' my PB and coming in under the four hour mark!!! This year I will aim to bring it down again. Well done to all involved and here's looking forward to 2011!!

In short: Well organised event - well done Sleaford Striders!!
In full: First time at this venue and found it all very well organised. A good course with a few good climbs en route. Thankfully the course has been changed from the previous (from what I was told) as I found mile 3-4 very boggy under foot. Other than that there was lots of support from the marshallers and the guys on the water stations. Here's looking forward to 2012!!

In short: 5th run of the RAF Marham 10
In full: Well done to the team for another well organised event. The course starts in Marham village (which co-insides with the village fun day) and you then head upto RAF Marham. You'll encounter the first of two hills (squires hill) and then head down to the RAF camp. Once through the gates you then complete around six miles of running around the airfield. It is almost flat so you'll have good PB potential here. The second climb (very gradual this one) is after the second aircraft site taking you past the golf course. Once past there it's down hill to the gate where you came in. Then it's around the rest of Marham village and back to the field that you started from. As I said it's a good PB potential race this one and has over the last five years had a good turn out. Would definately recommend to all runners!

In short: Another great turn out for this race. Well organised A++++
In full: Well done to Phil, Andy and the team for another well organised event this year. A very big thank you to the ATC volunteers for manning the water stations - a special thanks to the two young ladies who cheered and clapped everyone through crash gate one, and again on the way out. All in all a great day, coupled with the Marham Village fun day with boot sales and fair rides - shame the rain caught us a bit but I'll be back for my fifth race next year. See you all there!

In short: By far the best Marathon to date!
In full: Finally I have London under my belt! A truely fantastic day! Thank you to all of the marshallers, the people manning the water & lucozade stations and to all the crowds for cheering us on. I had my name on my shirt and was very greatful (especially from mile 23) for the cheering of 'come on sid - you can do it!' I spent most of the marathon thanking everyone that cheered my name. The atmosphere was truely amazing and the organisation was second to none! Will I be back? You'd better believe it - fingers crossed that the Ballot comes go for me later this year!

In short: Excellent views, oganisation and two great hills! :-)
In full: Well done to all involved! My first time at this particular event and I must say I was impressed! The run was broken up nicely with a good mix of road running and a nice run along the Grantham canal along with excellent views of the Lincolnshire countryside. The two hills were a good challenge on miles six and ten - made all the more pleasurable by the signs reminding us that Lincoln was 'flat'. The stadium finish was a nice touch as well - in fact this is the first stadium finish I have done. With the hills and sometimes a quite strong headwind I was still able to finish this one thirteen minutes faster than my previous half - happy days! The only small gripe I would have was the long wait at the end for the tee-shirt. It might be a good idea to include the shirt in the goody bag as at other events I have been to. Perhaps a finisher’s medal would be nice to? All in all though I would and will recommend this event to all! Well done - see you in 2010!

In short: An excellent Marathon! All part of the feastival of running organised by Lincolnshire Council.
In full: Organisation was fine with three races on the day with the Mayoress starting us all off. This is my second marathon and I'd like to say a big thank you to all the marshalls and all the guys 'n' girls 'manning' the water stations! The choice of energy drinks from mile 13 onwards certainly help keeping the legs going! Hopefuly I'll get London next year but I'll definately be running at Mablethorpe next year. Well done everyone!

In short: My debut at the marathon distance - and what a day for it!!
In full: Can I start by saying a big thank you to all the guys & gals that looked after us on the water/sponge stations! The weather was not the best at all due to snow/sleet and you guys were great to endure it! The race was very well organised and there was plenty of support on the route. A very good course with some good hills to challenge you - with it being a two lap course though it did mean the hills on lap two again! There was plenty of post race activities available ranging from some well earned food to a post race massage! I'll definitely be looking to do this marathon again next year (no matter the weather!) Well done to all involved!
