In short: So fast I was home really early
In full: As this is my home town I have to say I loved it. Missed it last year due to holiday so my first time on the course. Well worth a trip.

In short: You just wish for a flat section after a while but a stunning route
In full: Could have done with a better map of Worksop as we couldn't find the Town Hall but once there everything went smoothly. Good changing facilities and a reasonable amount of toilets. Looking forward to next year.

In short: Fast course, parking too far away
In full: Enjoyed this run again. The problem this year was the parking was somwhere in Norfolk (or it seemed like it) it was quite a long walk to the start and even further to the toilets. Other than that it was well marshalled and some goodwork from Forces Cadets as well

In short: Lovely run across the bridge, it seemed longer on the way back.
In full: This was a well organised race. Plenty of parking and marshalls to show you where to go. There is a challenging hill at the 10 mile point and just when you think you are nearly there you have to climb back up onto the bridge.

In short: Flat fast route, well organised definite PB course
In full: This event was well organised. The local ATC(army cadets or something like that) were sorting out the parking and were doing a really good job. There was plenty of room. You could even have camped or brought the caravan.
Course was scenic and ran past farms and fields. A herd of cows seemed quite interested in the stampede of runners and look as if they might join in.
It was a little congested at the finish but we soon got our medals and drink.
All in all a pleasant experience. One for the calendar next year.

In short: Fast PB course, free for all at the end
In full: Course was good. There was a half hour delay to the start due to people parking on the course. No major hills, just a challenging rise up to the castle for the last mile. A "nice" bit of cobbled street as well for the last 200 yards. The only problem was the finish. I couldn't get to the water as it was just like a rugby scrum. They need to rethink this bit. Water is important at the end. I began to feel light headed and had to use alternative tactics to get liquid. Also all spectators were in the second scrum outside the castle and it was almost impossible to find people. Best bet is to pick a spot before hand if you want to meet up with family and friends. Still a good day out, it can never be bad when you run a PB.
