In short: I never want to see another pebble for as long as I live!
In full: OK, this course has everything; road, trail, grass, scrambling, steep climbs, steep descents, nice scenery and an extremely tough slog along Chesil Beach. Throw any idea of pacing out of the window because the terrain is so varied that its a waste of time. The atmosphere wasn't bad but I found the Gower event to be friendlier - there were a lot more people wearing headphones for this one.

The organization and facilities were brilliant - hot showers that were still hot when I got to them! Bliss.

In short: Great race - bad weather :)
In full: This race has fantastic scenery, fun people and really good organisation. The weather was decent for December - not so bad that you can't see the cliffs, surf and hills and not so good that it felt easy! I did the half and was so pleased to get in before the heavy rain started though :)

In short: Good course and venue but unpleasant motorists and no chip timing
In full: The good:
Well organised
Nice, enthuseastic people
Good registration
Good location and setup
Good pool
Really nice bike course - flat and easy once you got out of town
The organisers reacted fast to a new set of roadworks that went up the morning of the race and setup a filter lane for the bikes

The bad:
No chip timing means that transition times were lumped into other stages (T1 counts towards your bike time etc).
It took ages to get the results for the mens sprint - I think they came in around 4pm.
It would have been nice to have a larger transition area because there was a problem with people putting their bikes in others rack while they were out on the bike.

In short: Good organisation, good weather and a good time :)
In full: 209 really seem to have turned this race around from last year. The organisation was really good, the marshalls did their jobs and the course was nice. Shame about the traffic in the middle of town but what can you do?

In short: Well organised run that goes right from my doorstep
In full: Seemed like a good crowd and everyone that I spoke to had a good time but it was a long cold walk back to race HQ at the end.
