In short: mud glorious mud
In full: So there was a little too much standing around at the beginning. Other than that WHAT A RACE!! Everything about it wasa good fr=un, from the wicked fell running through the woods and across the brakeny bit, up and down the hills, and then the muddy bog of doom at the end. Everyone i chatted too along the way seemed to be havin a whale of a time, and the goodie bagwas emense, There were so many fruit bits in it i was nearly sick. Most of the bog of doom did seem top end up in my bath though. Deff comoing back next year.

In short: Its a good job it's flat to the finish
In full: Its nice that the course has the hills and steep bits in the first 2/3's with a relativly flat run in over the last 4ish miles. As last year well put together and plenty of support from the sidelines. And the weather was about as good as you could ask for.

In short: Oh, you mean flat for Yorkshire!!!
In full: I had been told somewhere that this was a flat 10 and was a little shocked at the hillyness. Still once i go over the shock i loved every sun drenched minute of it. Well run all round even if there was a massive queue for the gents.

Can't wait for next year.

In short: Ok so that was quite hilly.... no make that very hilly!!!
In full: Still having not recovered totaly from a stonking London marathon (and i know it was weeks ago) made this quite tough going even on the flat bits. beautiful country side (even the hilly buts were pretty) and nice weather (even if it wasa little on the warm side for me) made it a great evening out and well worth the gruelling hills.

Rock on next year
