In short: not worth the trip
In full: £7 to run round a park that you could run for free, like someone was doing, he had the right idea! I know the price of water has gone up but to have a little cup of water in exchange for £7 entry fee is almost beyond belief! Would have got more out of it by doing a training run round my estate and I won't waste my time doing the race again.
I paid £7 for the race and you have to complete 4 out of 5 races to get a memento, which was not made clear when I entered.
Why pay £7 to run for nothing at the end of it?!!

In short: Worth the trip
In full: Excellent marshalls, challenging in the hot weather and one more water station would have been nice. Thanks to the chap at 7 miles with the hose pipe! Excellent facilities via the lesiure centre and a nice medal and excellent goody bag. Well worth the 140 mile round trip, will definitely be back next year!
