In short: Very well run village race. A challenging rolling course of roughly two laps on country roads. Great value including goody bag a t-shirt.

In short: Another very good and well run MOK run. Majority do the 10k but it's the half marathon which has the more interesting course with challenging dunes/beach section. Goody bag excellent.

In short: Very well organised event. Nice course. Great goody bag and food afterwardss.
In full: An attractive and fast course through Bellahouston Park on Southside Glasgow, starting and finishing on the running track. Very well organised by Bellahouston Road Runners. Goody bag and post-race spread excellent. Very good value for money.

In short: Hard course. Good community event. Post race spread excellent.
In full: Quirky distance but starting and finishing in central Portree is great for the community event. Good mix of club, local and holiday runners. No getting away from fact it's an undulating/hilly course and there's quite a lot of traffic on the main road during the second half. First three miles more up than down, next three more down than up, short sharp hill at 7th mile and then a long uphill incline to 11 miles. Last bit downhill - thank the lord! Goodie bag very good and post race food/drink provided by the local running club was wonderful. One minor grumble that the event t-shirt was printed with an A4 transfer which won't last one wash.

In short: Beautiful. Fun. Windy. Great Atmosphere. A bargain.
In full: A strong NE wind made the half mara very tough this year. The beach section was fairly wild with sand blown everywhere! The organisation and atmosphere was first class once again. One blip being there seemed no formal start to the race by gun or horn - it just started which caught a few napping and very nearly the time-keeping car. Goody bag excellent with an embroidered tech shirt this year to boot.

In short: Warm. Fast. Flat. Quick. 1000 runners and lots of PBs.
In full: A warm night down on the Ayrshire Riviera. Good conditions on a fairly flat and fast track around the town. Very well marshalled and , despite a bit of a cramped start, plenty of room at the finshing line for what I'm told is Scotland's biggest mid-week 10k.

In short: A hilly course so no realistic chance of getting a PB. Brilliantly organised and a real community event which made the day hugely enjoyable.

In short: The 3k of hills early on make it a tough track until you can freewheel back down to the finish. Well organised and enjoyable.

In short: Second time I've run it. Hugely enjoyable once again and I broke my pb by over 4 mins. Off-road/Beach section tough but otherwise undulating roads. Fantastic party atmosphere at finish and organisers do a fabulous job.
