In short: Delayed start - poor. Girls at mile 11 - the best ever
In full: There's no point moaning about the weather. You have to accept whatever it is. The delayed start of 15 minutes was not acceptable. I felt for the runners wearing the minimum and shivering in the biting wind for an unneccessary 15 minutes. I enjoyed the route. Marshalls were variable. A few were encouraging. I felt I was there to encourage some of them rather than the other way around! However, the two girls at mile 11 were the best ever. The finish was efficiently organised. Thank you to the organisers and hope you raised what you expected for your good causes.

In short: Very well organised from receiving info in the post to the end of the racec
In full: Many thanks to all involved in what made a great race. I was very impressed with the 8 page info pack that gave all the important information. Efficiency at every step of the way. A particular thanks to all the marshalls and those manning the water stations. See you again next year!

In short: Well organised event that runs smoothly
In full: First time running this and it was well worth entering. Smoothly organised and well marshalled with clear instructions and encouragement. The finish was exciting (even without the hurdles!)and it made up for the sections along pavements. Thank you to the organisers and all involved.

In short: Excellent organisation. A great course. Marshalls were exceptional.
In full: A huge thank you to the organisers for putting on such a great event. It ran like clockwork. It was more challenging than expected due to the general running surface and mud at times, but all the more enjoyable because of it.
The marshalls were the best I have come across, as were those at the well placed water stations.I particularly want to thank the woman with ginger hair at the 4 mile (approx) water station and the marshall at mile 5 (approx) for their encouragement. The whole event was particularly friendly and I had several conversations with runners during and after the event. There was a good buzz. This may have partly been due to the size of the field. Any negatives fade into insignificance compared to the overall experience.
You can expect me back and I will highly recommend it to others. Thanks to all those involved once again.

In short: My first race at this distance and a time just under two hours. Hillier than expected but managed to keep running. Excellent organisation including very good marshalling. Overall highly recommended.
In full: Thanks to all in the Burnham Joggers for my most enjoyable race to date. Efficiently organised with encouraging marshalls. The medal is one of the best and the mars bar was consumed in 20 seconds. This was my first race at this distance and I would recommend it to first-timers but it is an undulating course and there's the risk of running the first lap a little too fast. Do a flatter course the next time and a PB should be on the cards! I'll be back next year.
