In short: Good race on a very cold miserable day.
In full: I thought the race was very good value for money with a nice tshirt and was well organised apart from the start and finish which were a bit strange. A big thank you to the marshalls who I thought were very supportive especially around the five mile point on the very long hill when I really needed some encouragement. I'll definetly be back next year when hopefully the weather will be a bit nicer.

In short: Good for the first year but changes need to be made to the course especcially if they are hoping to attract more runners next year.
In full: The event was organised very well and it was nice to start and finish in Sheffield City Centre but I have got a few moans i'm afraid. Firstly I feel that the zone idea for the start is a very good idea but I wish that people would be more realistic and go in the zones that suit their ability as there were a lot of runners in the first zone that were clearly not sub 45 minute runners. This meant that people like myself who were in the zone behind had to get past all these people before I had any clear road so my chances of a PB were gone straight away. If this hadn't been the case the course would have been perfect for a PB. Secondly I feel that the course could have been better and perhaps gone up Eccelsall Road and incorporated more of the City Centre like the Sheffield half does. And Finally the race was very expensive surely you shouldn't pay anymore than £15 for a 10k.
