In short: those hills, not for the faint hearted.
In full: First time this year I've done this race route well put together by Jason Chapman you can always expect some really testing hills, but when youhave finished going up theres a fair share of down hill as well.Really freindly marshalls to help you along and a goody bag and t shirt at the end.Put my name down for next year.

In short: Well worth turning out for.
In full: Plenty of ups and downs in the first 3 miles probably more of the firstand on the final mile you find yourself on the flat,Despite the hills which you are going to get in most runs and only add to the race it was enjoyable and will be turning out there next year.Well done to the Striders club.

In short: Well done to the" Rocket" and his many helpers.
In full: This is the second year I have done this race and hopefully I will be back again next year to take my weary legs round those Cumbrian hills. You will never beat this one for its setting and the scenery on route. The only thing I can add is that I think that it could be better if there was a chip start.Once again excellent though and see you in 2011.
