In short: Extremely well organised 10k race on undulating roads In full: This was an extremely well organised race. Loads of parking at Chessington and great pre & post race facilities in the community college meaning no hanging around in the cold.
Undulating course, well marshalled. Not particularly scenic so not such a memorable race Date of review: March 6, 2011

In short: A great 10k race in SW London along a beautiful scenic route In full: Very well organised 10k race for a small field of mixed ability runners. Started bang on time. Scenic route through Kew, then predominantly along the river. Well marshalled with chip timing. Bonus of race photographers, finishing medal and mix of drinks & snacks at the end. Great value Date of review: March 6, 2011

In short: The most beautiful half marathon course In full: This was my first time running the Water of Life Half Marathon and it was a fantastic race. The course is absolutely beautiful....along the tow paths, through a field of sheep with numerous kissing gates to pass through and several narrow bridges to cross. Although it's quite a small field I had to queue on occasion, so don't treat this as a PB course. The terrain is quite varied with gravel paths, marshy fields, muddy paths and the odd incline so if road running is your thing it's not to be recommended. The marshalls were great, so enthusiastic and lovely to have them playing their bongo drums en route. And what's more the race was organised like clockwork. Plenty of parking, superb facilities at the sports centre for changing and the race started bang on time. I'll enter again! Date of review: March 22, 2010
