In short: Easily the best 10 mile race in the country and maybe the world.
In full: My 4 fastest 10 mile performances have been here even though it can get a little windy. There are so many good runners you allways have something to pull you along. At the same time there are plenty of newbies and people there for the ride so nobody should feel out of place. Lots to do around the start finish area and great for supporters as you can easily move between start 10K and finish line. Plan to spend your day in Portsmouth because with 25,000 runners you won't be getting out quick. There's plenty to do anyway so enjoy the fun.

In short: Flat fast 2 lapper. Good marathon training. Very poor prizes let down some fast times.

In short: Great scenery, tough course, well organised.
In full: The 4 1/2 hr+ runners set off 1 hour before and the relay sets off 30 mins before so there are allways lots of runners on course. It's a great chance to say hello to runners you wouldn't normally meet when you are overtaking. This also makes it a great first race for slower runners as they will finish within a reasonable time of the winner but the course is pretty tough and gets tougher towards the end but the finish area has a bit of a party atmosphere. You will be proud when you finish this one.

In short: Very good all round. Nice to run on totally closed roads. Gently undulating but I got a PB. Great London warm up. Good competition. Busy start for those further down the field.
