In short: PB potential if you don't mind hills!
In full: One of my favourite races of the year; people dont like the uphill finish but theyre forgetting the two mile downhill section that precedes it! Fast, challenging course with excellent marshals who cheer you on (one even shouted out positions to the runners near the front). Didnt have any problems with the start but I was near the front and so heard the marshal shout 'go', maybe the runners further back couldn't hear? If so that needs to be addressed. Yes there was a tight corner at the finish but I was moving a fair bit and it didnt cause me too many problems. All in all a great race, thanks to Barnsley AC & all concerned, maybe use a gun / loudspeaker next year?
