In short: what a wonderful weekend In full: My all time favourite half marathon - well done Campbeltown ("wee toon") - Thanks for a memorable weekend. Fantastic organisation and welcome. Great buzz. So much more than a run, with Chris Moon, Pasta, Ceilidh, Shirt, Medal, and the highlights? ... running over the dunes and along the Kintyre sand, and the music at the ceilidh ... Especially the AMAZING sound of the pipes and drums. Thanks to everyone involved.

In short: First time , lovely route, well organised and all over by lunch time! In full: Longleat lends itself really well to an event of this kind - everything is laid on for visitors. The route is picturesque and undulating - the "hills" are not nearly as bad as I was expecting. Don't be put off! Date of review: February 7, 2010
