In short: Great Race, See you next Year :-) In full: Not much I can add. Great organisation, Support and goody bag :-) Tough course but loved it even managed a PB :-) One minor issue more toilets needed at the lesiure centre if possibel next year. Well Done and Thanks to all involved. Date of review: March 19, 2012
In short: Greatchance of a PB on this one :-) In full: Well organised race. Nice flat course for the fast people out there chasing a PB. Good medal and goody bag also at the end. Date of review: March 7, 2012
In short: Really well Organised Half that I would run again. In full: Great course with some slight hils so you have a good chance of a PB (If it is not windy). Very well supported in all the villages you pass through. Water stations good nice to get a bottle instead of cups :-) Well run by the guys from Meters to Miles. See you next year :-) Date of review: September 12, 2011
In short: Great Trail Marathon, that is by no means Flat! In full: Really enjoyed the marathon. Lovely route even with the two lap section, I felt a little sorry for those being lapped but most seemed to be enjoying the event. Some minor issues, Mile markers where out, and the lack of sports drinks to help in the later stages. Also a technical T would have been much nicer as a gift at the end as there is no way not I will wear cotton when running. I will enter again, well done to Fa-Feet on their first Marathon :-) Date of review: November 8, 2010
In short: Fantastic Event. A must do event. In full: Well done to all the Runners and the Event Organisers.
This even had it all a great course, Great Runners, Great Organisation... Well Lets just say it was GREAT. A must do for anyone wanting to run from a Solo to Team of 8. Well done to all the Runners and the Event Organisers. Date of review: August 2, 2010
In short: This is a 2010 Review - What a Great Race. If you plan an off road Marathon make it this one. Fantastic :-) In full: Had to add my review to the 2009 thread as the 2010 one is not up on RW yet.
As I said it is a great race and I will be doing it again. It is very tough, but worth it.
In short: My First Half and makes we want more :-) In full: The organisation was very good (Especially for a Club WELL DONE Knavesmire Harriers), and the marshalls need a special mention as they GREAT, lots of encouraging the runners all the way round. Even crossing the line it was organisation at its best, and a good goodie bag, even a choice of colour of Sweat Shirt!!!
Once well done to Knavesmire Harriers and all involved.
