In short: Bigger and better than 2012
In full: Well organised event which had the feel of a major city event. Organisers have learnt lessons from last year and it was obvious.

In short: Great race
In full: Bit hilly ;-) but well organised and supported. The PA used at the start was totally inadequate although I wasn't that far from the front I could bearly hear a word - which is a shame as the little I did hear was seemed to be trying to organise a minutes silence as a mark of respect to someone that died, I suspect that the people behind me had no idea what was going on

In short: Could have been a great event to re-establish the manchester marathon but was'nt to be
In full: Let down by poor organisation - some minor gripes (lack of organisation at start and finish in Longford Park, route had some pinch points around Dunham) but the baggage was a disaster - glad the organisers have held their hands up on this. Once we were running the weather didn't bother me that much but it must have been a nightmare for anyone that had to walk any sections. Thanks to the trafford/manchester public for their support in such conditions

In short: Usual high standards
In full: Normally Wilmslow half marathon tends to be on a pleasant spring day with at the most the sun peaking out from behind a cloud - not this year :-) Didn't get the time I wanted and I am bit disappointed but that doesn't detract from another great Wilmslow half - faultless organisation and a great atmosphere. And I suspect the drinks were deliberately put towards the end of the finish funnel so as to keep people moving and stop a crowd building just over the finish line, we had just run 13 miles so walking another 50m shouldn't have been that much of strain ;-)

In short: usual excellent standards
In full: despite the heavy rain and cold temperature it was a pleasure to participate in another excellent Stockport 10. Great value as well as the tech top seems like a good one

In short: Brilliant race (as usual)
In full: Well organised and enthusiastically supported race. Only small gripe is tech tshirt looks exactly like previous years and even though I got the same size as previous year it seems to be about twice as big :-)

In short: Excellent well organised first race of the year
In full: Beforehand I thought the new start would cause a few problems but it didn't seem to cause too many problems and we were quickly out on the wide road. Big thank you to the organisers/marshalls/water station helpers for a great race

In short: Well Organised scenic run
In full: My favourite half didn't let me down, as good as ever :-) Everything about this half is good - easy parking, well organised run, enthusiastic marshalls and a tech t-shirt in the goody bag this year

In short: Well ogranised race race round country lanes
In full: First time for me at this one and thought it was a well organised race around traffic free country lanes (although I don't think there were official road closures).

The start was on a narrow country lane and was congested. It wasn't helped by the ususal suspects starting too near the front and moaning as they got jostled as the crowds went past them. After about half a mile though the crowds thinned out
