In short: great experience for my first full marathon
In full: found it tough going on the rock hard chalky tracks (even after all the rain) and i think i made a mistake in wearing trail shoes but was expecting tracks to be saturated. glad i chose this one though as the scenery and access to salisbury plain/stonehenge made it interesting for the 5 hrs i was out in the lovely sun. good organisation/transport/toilets on course/food etc. back to halfs for me now though

In short: a great sense of achievement after finishing this great race
In full: a fanatastic morning in the countryside and a feeling that no race holds any fears for me now. great course, thanks hogweeds, and to all marshalls and volunteers involved. the long hill did eventually defeat me, but now i know what to overcome when i return next year. can't wait.

In short: good first running of this event
In full: Well done town and country harriers and Avon riding centre for the disabled. not sure how close to 10k course was but enough to contend with - mud, water, stench, hills. managed reasonable time as well, hope this becomes a yearly event or more regular.
