In short: 3rd if it wasnt for a marshall
In full: Was going great in 3rd place and then let down by a marshall 1km from the end, I wish they'd had someone by that alleyway near the cricket ground as I ran down there ("Keep going straight on, mate"). I've never done this race before so I did'nt know where I was going without guidance. I was robbed.

In short: PB Potential in a very scenic race
In full: This is a great race in glorious rolling countryside. Apart from letting the fun runners start only 5 minutes ahead meaning we'd passed most of them at the quarter way point by the time their race was over, it allowed for some very fast times and I will be doing this next year.

In short: Organisation was a bit poor but race itself was fun
In full: The start was a mess - no horn, no announcement, no nothing...and starting everyone together was a bit of a joke - I had to climb over kids and fun runners to get in front of the huge pack which cocked up my pacing and ultimately my race, but hey ho, the medal and goody bag was nice as was the information inside. But if you are going to get serious competitors here, please please please do a staggered start next year.
